Nowadays, games on our smartphones provide a better graphical experience than most of the high-end computers would provide back then. So why not talk about some graphic intensive shooting games you can play on your Android. Before we get started, just want to make one thing clear. These games were not released in 2016 but are the all-time top ones that you can install and enjoy. Let’s have a look.

1. Modern Combat 5: Blackout

If you have watched any of my smartphone gaming reviews on our YouTube channel, you would know that Modern Combat 5: Blackout one the few games I install and play on every Android. Not just me, according to a data, it’s one of the most downloaded and loved FPS games on the Play Store. There is tons of action in the game, and you can play it in both – single player and online multi-player. The single player mode has a great storyline while in multiplayer mode, you get to build your own squad to compete online. Graphics, sound, and controls are best in its class, and all you need is a high-end phone which doesn’t heat up quickly. The game would utilize a lot of resources, and therefore, devices with not much of RAM and processor speed to spare might see lags.

2. UNKILLED

It was either Dead trigger 2 or Unkilled, and the reason for me to choose Unkilled is because of its practical levels. Unkilled is a typical FPS game wherein you need to fight zombies, and complete different levels and all of them are fun to play. In some of the levels you get to raid, while others are missions with objectives and my personal favorite is to be a sniper. The levels are balanced and in spite of in-app purchases, you don’t have to necessarily buy one. If you are a skilled gamer, you might find yourself running out of energy and patience is the virtue here. Overall, I am sure you will love this game, but you will have to keep up with the amount of blood and weird sounds of zombies. And did I forget to mention that there are over 300 mission in the game you will enjoy?

3. NOVA 3: Freedom Edition

While the Modern Combat 5 would remind you of Call of Duty, NOVA 3 Freedom Edition will be much like the Halo from Microsoft. NOVA 3 Freedom Edition is a free version of NOVA 3 itself, and the only difference is in the revenue model. The freedom edition is free to download and play, but you will get ads in loading screen and menu. NOVA 3, however, can be played ad-free with a single time purchase. Now about the game, you get an incredible story line, best of the class graphics and awesome controls. You also get 7 different multiplayer modes like Free for all, Capture the flag, etc. The only thing I find missing is the integration with Google Play Services to back up the data on the cloud.

4. SHADOWGUN: DeadZone

Another FPS game by Madfinger, the makers of Unkilled. But this one is purely focused on online multiplayer rather than mission based playing. Remember Quake 3? SHADOWGUN is pretty much like it. You connect with players online and lay different missions like deathmatch, capture the flags etc. The game is free to download and play, but there are some in-app purchases you can opt for. The game has some solid graphics and the fact that it’s actually based on space wars, you get all sorts of weapons and neon color effects.

5. Call of Duty: Strike Team

Last but not the least, Call of Duty, the one name without which no FPS list can be completed. Call of Duty: Strike Team is fun to play with a combination of FPS and 3rd-person shooting game with a lot of strategy involved.  You have complete control over your squad, and you have to infiltrate the enemy locations and complete tasks on your mission and make sure no man leaves behind. Sadly, the game is not free and is $6.99 to download with in-app purchases. But it will be worth it if you are a real COD and FPS fan.

Conclusion

So there were the top 5 FPS games you can play on your Android with amazing graphics. If there are any other FPS games, you would like to suggest, all you need to do is drop a comment. I would love to try out some new games. ALSO SEE: The Best New Free Android Games of 2015 The above article may contain affiliate links which help support Guiding Tech.
