Here’s a simple trick using which you can automatically bypass the intermediate page and open the full image directly every time you click on a thumbnail in the Google Image search result pages. All you need to do is download and install Google Images direct links script in your browser.
As this trick too requires you to install a JavaScript in your browser, Firefox and Opera users will have to do it via the Greasemonkey extension. Chrome users, however, can directly install and use the script. Cool Tip: As we are talking about Google Image Search, I thought it would be great to share how you download images from there. The script is plug and play in action and as soon as its installed in your browser you will no longer get the intermediate page when you open an image using Google Image search. Moreover, the script also gives you the option to use the old (basic) Google Image Search on your browser. To activate the basic version scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Switch to basic version. If you want to make this view permanent, click on the Always link instead.
The script can be easily disabled from the Chrome Extensions page when needed. Hope that helps. The above article may contain affiliate links which help support Guiding Tech. However, it does not affect our editorial integrity. The content remains unbiased and authentic.
